Drink for a Canadian PartyCanadians drink a lot of carbonated soft drinks such as Coca Cola or carbonated orange. They also have a fondness for "Clamato juice", a bizarre mixture of tomato juice, clam broth and spices, which as well as being consumed on its own is also included as a main ingredient in several popular cocktails.
Tea and coffee are popular, with coffee being the more popular of the two; Canadians enjoy their coffee and their café culture much like their US neighbours.
On the alcoholic front, you may be surprised to hear that Canada produces a fair amount of wine, especially in the region around Niagara. A speciality of this region is "ice wine", a dessert wine made from grapes that have frozen on the vine. Beer is universally popular in Canada, and there are some strong Canadian beer brands which are available aroud the world, including Moosehead, Labatts and Molson. And of course, as mentioned above, Canada's national cocktail is the Caesar, which is similar to a Bloody Mary but made with Clamato Juice.
